ROHS Environmental Engineering is a 100% Black Owned Environmental Consulting company. ROHS Environmental Engineering was established to meet the growing demand for Industries and Engineering firms to align their production processes and activities to comply with the legislative requirements under the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA).

ROHS Environmental Engineering was founded in September 2014 in answer to a growing need for affordable and quality engineering firms to conduct the activities necessary for the gaining of air emissions license and emissions testing required by the National department of Environmental Affairs and the then-proposed regulations for Section 21 of the NEMA: Air quality act. Since that time ROHS Environmental Engineering has permitted and performed emissions testing at numerous number of facilities, including power plants, chemical plants and foundries under the AEL requirements. The business has had a successful first year (2015) and is planning to expand its customer base and build a new lab and offices. The permitting requirements of the AEL Act Amendments of 2013 had caused many industries to examine sources of emissions, which had heretofore not been permitted nor quantified.

ROHS Environmental Engineering has the expertise and experience to assist with a variety of compliance and permitting activities required by regulatory agencies for industrial processing operations and commercial facilities. ROHS’ compliance services are designed to help our clients evaluate and implement regulatory compliance requirements at the local, provincial, and national levels.

These activities include auditing, preparation of various regulation specific plans and regulation or permit specific reports, along with supporting documentation, the development of management systems and the preparation of training documents.
